Firstly, I wasn't sure where to write this, so I apologise if this is the wrong area.

The series Automata has been licensed in English and today the publishers have asked for all chapters of it to be removed from websites in an email sent to Cave Scanlations. We've already had our chapters removed, but chapters from another group called "Beat Ya To It Scans" are still on Batoto and we'd like to comply with the publisher's wishes.

Hi Rexenik,

 

As per current group policy, the releases by Beat Ya To It Scans cannot be removed on another user's/group's request. Unless of course, the staff/admins of the group that has uploaded the release, ask us to take down their chapters; or if they delete it themselves.

 

If you want to follow through this issue, you can contact them from your end; and ask them if they would have the chapters removed from Batoto.

 

Please keep an eye on this thread in case someone has something more helpful to add.

 Yes, as Shadow-fate says, That email is for cave-scanlation. It may not apply to every scanlation group out there. If the publisher emailed Batoto to have 

all the release for the serie to be remove we will complement to the request. Batoto respect every scanlation group's policy/ author/publisher requests through their

own rules/policy. 

 

As we dont go through every group's posts and notice, we don't know whose exactly involved. We cant put notice of one group's and applies to another's.
