Personality:  Read Bio first, this will make more sense.
Severo, and the person he was before, possess a few positive traits.  He is he ambitious, and willing to do much to achieve his goals.  He has no problem taking on seemingly impossible undertakings.  He is is a sociable person and legitimately enjoys meeting new people and hearing their stories.  He often speaks with a respectful tone and is plenty willing.  His weaknesses are sweets, which he enjoys constantly, and tea, which he got in the habit of drinking due to fortune telling.

Beyond the above, Severo has two noteworthy traits.  The first his the sense of loyalty he has with his followers.  He considers them his family, and treats the as such.  He is fiercely protective of them and will gladly start wars for their sakes.  This doesn’t just extend to the Black Flags, he is also loyal to his employees in the Hart Trading Company, often helping them out whenever they need it.  Hurting either group, will result in being placed upon Severo’s black list, which amounts to large, violent people showing up outside your house in the middle of the night.  

Second, he is incredibly nonchalant about situations that most people would be going insane from stress.  This eerie calmness in the face of adversity inspires those who follow behind him.  

When he’s acting in his public persona he his a loud, seemingly honest man who treats his employees well and is devoted to his city.  He has a strong work ethic and is not above getting his hands dirty to make his business thrive.  

When he is out of public eye, he maintains most of the same qualities, but adds a pinch of ruthlessness when dealing with his enemies.  At the same time he has an eye for talented individuals and is often trying to recruit for either of his organizations.  He is quite talented when it comes to organizing people and has a charismatic side that draws people towards him.

“Serving the community, cities, and kingdom for the past Six years, I’m Severo Hart.  When I came to this port a poor man, you, the people helped me grow from a small merchant with one tiny boat, to one of the largest traders on the Northwestern part of continent.  In return for this love I feel from all of you, I promise the so long as I live, I will do my best to help the people of this strange and wonderful world we live in.  Everything from undergarments to plate armor, puppies to tigers, radishes to gunpowder we’ll find what you want at Hart Trading Company.”

Years ago on the Island of Relorth, in a city named Tibe, there was a ruler.  Now this ruler had managed to come to the top of the city.  While the people of his city cared for him, he managed to run afoul of some powerful people.  Eventually, it became clear that he was going to be killed.  Rather than stay and fight, dragging his city into chaos, he chose to leave.  He acquired five large ships and gathered to him his friends, followers, allies, and their families, a number just over four hundred and fifty.  And with these comrades, the ruler set sail from the Relorth.  

After a long voyage, they managed to make landfall in a secluded cove on the Lunia-Axcill border.  While those who came with him were willing, as they landed they suddenly became nervous about their future.  Devising a plan, he had his group divide up and go to different parts of the countries.  Taking a small group of his own he went into a large coastal city in Lunia.  Taking up the name Severo Hart, he claimed to be an old veteran of a trading company, and came here to start his own.  

A few short years later he managed to become a well known, if not admired, man.  He was considered hard working, honest, benevolent, and a mighty defender of his employees who he treated as family.  His company, Hart Trading, grew quickly due to his business savvy and damn good luck (if you ask his competition).  Shortly after his arrival, many pirate attacks began occurring, sinking his competitors ships and stealing their wares.  At the same time, overland caravans were also raided often.  While his competitors suffered, it seemed like Hart Trading was blessed by the heavens.  They were rarely attacked, and when they were, it was commented that his crews fought like tigers to protect their livelihoods (it helped that a good majority of the time, the pirates and bandits who were doing the attacking were Severo’s followers).  Severo attributed this to his tendency to hire anyone who needed it.  He claims that they repay the faith he puts in them by giving their all.  

Recently, the Hart Trading Company has managed to run afoul the Shimmering Reim, Albatross, and Indomitable Ox guilds all at the same time.  Combined with this, a rumor of Relorth Crime Family who have been the cause of the recent pirate and bandit attacks has begun to spread throughout the region.  As he finds himself once again facing multiple adversaries, Severo worries for the future of his followers.  For six years he has created a masterful lie, but as it grows larger, he can’t help but wonder.  “How long can I keep it up?”

Man of the Sea- Severo is a master sailor from his former life as a pirate and current life as a merchant, though he doesn’t get to show it off as much.  

Illusionist-  Severo is naturally masterful illusionist, easily deceiving even veteran mages.  For the most part he keeps this trait hidden when acting in his proper business man persona.  

Mystic-  He is also well versed in mysticism, learning how to best apply his gifts on the streets and in the back rooms and alleys of Relorth.  

Head for business-  Severo is a natural businessman and his years of experience have led to a talent for negotiation and managing people.  

Whip Specialist-  Since one of his friends spent an ungodly (at the time anyhow) amount of money on a magic whip for him when they were younger, Severo devoted himself to mastering the weapon.  He is capable of easily tripping, disarming, and binding most enemies.  

Hart Trading Company (Relorth Crime Family)-  To the public eye, Severo runs one the more successful trading companies in the Kingdom of Lunia.  It also has some influence in other kingdoms, normally near the coastlines.  As a result, Severo at any time has a great amount of wealth that he can call upon.  He also has a large number of employees who are near devoted to him.  Hart Trading itself is divided (unofficially) into halves.  White Sails are his normal employees taking from where ever he can find them, they do most of the legitimate work.  The Black Flags are made up near exclusively of Severo’s followers from Relorth and led by his childhood friend K..  While some do the normal work of White Sails or act as guards for the business, most perform illegal acts at Severo’s order.  To quote a member, “Black Flag is the boss’s personal army of thieves, thugs, criminals, cut-throats, serial killers, pirates, whores, horse thieves, bank robbers, ass-kickers, shit-kickers, and Methodists.”

Inventory:
Cielo Frusta, K. -  A magic whip that was bought for Severo by his closest friend, K., when they were both young in Relorth.  It possesses two magic features, the first is the ability to expand and shrink in length, second is it is enchanted to have better control than a normal whip.  

Tooth-  A long, well worn, trench knife that Severo carries to use in tandem with K.

Tea Pouch-  A tea pouch he carries for fortune telling, or in case he get thirsty...

Jasp-  A Grey parrot that follows Severo around.  It is well trained and follows his commands.
