You learn more by being wrong for the right reason than by being right for the wrong reason.

[strangerdangerisreal] Yeah I have a new one: Don't leave your phone number on a receipt asking hella cute waitresses and waiters to call you and don't give them 100% tips. [/strangerdangerisreal]
I see the pattern now. I step in a giant pile of shit, and everyone else gets to learn from my mistakes while I suffer the consequences. And then I go step in another pile. This is so twisted man. I don't like this at all.

If you're don't want to listen to someone's lecture (probably from a parent) you can look at the wall or a furniture placed behind or near their head and start thinking about something else. They'll still think you're looking at them and the objects won't distract you, making you relax and zone out peacefully. Also nod after a while, do it in a rhythm, it'll soon be involuntary and they'll think you're listening.
I may come off as a rude brat from this but trust me, asian parents.. You do not want to have to listen to their repetitive lectures of old fashion thinking. I swear listening to my dad about how western cultures can corrupt me etc.. A friend of mine has to live through her whole life making sure her parents don't know that she is a lesbian. The stuff they say are so offensive..

It's not always true, but in 90% of the cases it is. You aren't afraid of height, you are afraid to fall. You aren't afraid of water, you are afraid to drown. You aren't afraid of the dark, but what could possibly hide within

That's just playing on words x)
And when I'm high and look down I actually feel attracted to the ground, like I want to jump, it's scary o_o

Not really, you could see it that way though, but a lot of people dont realise it, and with it, they might be able to overcome it a bit easier. And yeah, i believe thats quite a bit of normal thinking, atleast i think it sometimes too. Like, what would happen if i fall from here
