Does Batoto host adult material, or mature material? I ask because I wanted to upload the scanlations of http://www.asphodelshaven.com/, but I'm not sure if Batoto follows the scanlator's requirements:

I'm aware Batoto hosts mature material (as in http://vatoto.com/comic/_/comics/g-edition-r886), and that it doesn't do an age check.  However, it doesn't host pornography or nudes. So... should I upload?

If by adult you mean like hentai then no its not allowed. If you thinking along the links of borderline-h manga then 9/10 the manga is not allowed, if you thinking a mature/ecchi/smut manga then it comes down the the content of the manga and how much of certain parts are visible and what the content is about.

But what I want to know isn't if I the doujinshi I want to upload is admissible by Batoto, but if Batoto is admissible by the scanlator.

I'm going with 'yes', because most people think 'adult' is just an euphemism for 'porno-graphical'; if I happen to be wrong, I'll have this topic as proof that it was an honest mistake.

Batoto does not do a "hard" age check, as in a click yes if you are over 18/21, but has a "mature" tag that says the content may contain explicit/graphic violence, gore, and/or adult content.

So no, Batoto would not qualify under the 2nd term
