Batoto was the place I discovered how much I love manga so of course going to be tough to say goodbye but I guess shit's bound to hit the fan some time or another. See ya Batoto, you will be missed.

Just went through a bit of my history on Batoto and didn't realise how much the community helped me through depressing times, guess I just forgot about it until now. No wonder I always felt so at home here so thanks not only for the website but also to the community of Batoto for lightening up my days. And to the people I used to chat with, sorry for not being active at all for the last couple of years. Hope you're doing well and will maybe see you somewhere else in the future :).

Pervy, my follows list is a basically a record of what I've read and enjoyed. I guess it would be more appropriate to say that I've finally read about 1000 manga on Batoto including one-shots and those which have been deleted while being scanlated here. I'm actually planning now that I've reached 1000 to find the ones which I didn't manage to keep up to date with and finish them off.

You know, you're right. My list is pretty much the same, a record of what I have read here at Batoto. And I keep idle series on that list because you never know when another group might pick up a series that was dropped by the group formerly scanlating it. I've seen a few series that were picked up three or four years after they had been dropped by other groups.

Yeah it happens once in a blue moon.The most interesting moment is when a series does get updated which you can't remember at all and see a comment which you made in the past saying how much you loved it and what not but after giving the manga a re-read, you find you don't like it now. It shows how your interests have changed over the years.

I decide to change my name to GrumpySadisticDonkeyKong and what do I get? A message saying it's already in use. Tried to search it in the members search and get a damn message saying Batoto is down. This is a damn conspiracy.

Or a group of girl scouts, because everyone knows that they can build time machines. They will play dumb if your favour with them is low though, you need to buy tons of cookies to unlock the option of building a time machine, their time core only requires a stick of butter and some paper clips.

Hmmm. If only mad scientists were rich...would be able to use both. Though there's indeed no way of tracking down them down without a time machine. Hmm. What if I fight fire with fire? Attempt to steal their identities? That way I could enlist both without the need to worry about running out of money with the two.
