I love this series but damn the power scaling is pushing the author into a corner.

the inspiration come from the chinese novel condor hero:Heavenly sword and Dragon saber.

bi quan sword is based on the dragon saber and warin sword from the heavenly sword.

Dang, I was supposed to study for my test this weekend. Until I found this series... Oh well

I think that this is where the 3rd disciple dies and because of that the MC gets extra motivation to get stronger than everyone

I don't know that there​ is a personality change. He has always had the ability to see through opponents and he has been maturing at an incredible pace. He knows That Person moves his consciousness from one strong martial artist to the next and that in order to control his father's body That Person held his mother hostage. I think Kwang knows Hwa Rin is alive (probably through his extreme ki detection) and has figured out That Person plans to use her as a hostage to take his body at some point just like what happened to his parents. Yes the old Kwang would have charged in without a plan we saw him allow Hwa Rin to face the masked man alone because it was the better plan and this is the same. He knows Hwa Rin will be kept alive as insurance at least as long as he's alive but if he leaves the battlefield all his allies will likely die. I think his seemingly cold demeanor is the authors way of showing he is doing what he needs to despite wanting to save Hwa Rin as soon as possible.

Usually those kind of people don't survive to the top.

This manhwa deserve to have its character name to be remembered.

I mean even before the main cast entered Sinji, he was already ridiculously strong.

But when he fought against Kwang and the gang, the goddess etc, even with one of the sacred sword, he was badly hurt, Although he blames it on him underestimating his enemies but 3 of them almost got him, I think it was the spear dude who did the final blow, no?

Its funny how the author realised he wrote himself into a corner by making the lower SInji ranks like the old guy be TOO strong...I mean look at how strong Sa Eumin is (even when he was hiding his true power) and hes not even ranked in the top 10 IIRC. Now the author isnt even bothering to mention anyone's ranks at all.

 

Judging by the rankings so far I cant imagine how powerful the #2 guy is (assuming hes even alive, might be one of the dead clan masters).
