Damn it. I had finally managed to erase that from my memory ah... these old wounds
axed.. the story is good and can be very long if not axed.. sad. there are many character that even got no screen time.

Reasons this got axed as told by people in this comment section: Awesome MC, great art, fantastic story.
Reasons this actually got axed: Terrible, terrible pacing. Terrible perspectives during fights, can't make out shit. Steady introduction of characters without adding any depth to existing ones. Repeatedly referring to the MC's "mysterious backstory", almost once per chapter, without revealing any new information, ever, until it was apparent that they got axed.
That being said, there are still way worse mangas out there that haven't gotten axed yet, but in the end this one deserved to at least be considered for cancellation and simply ended up not being lucky enough to survive.
PS: There have been MUCH better mangas that got axed aswell. Mx0, anyone?
Well that ending chugged piss. Shame, I found this one more enjoyable then a lot of the other fight school/harem mangas.
While I enjoyed this series I'm not surprised it was axed. It just didn't do anything that really stood out. Sure the MC wasn't a wimp, but lately we've seen a rise in those kinds of MC's thanks to many light novels. Heck, one of the problems this manga might have is that the author was using light novel pacing instead of manga pacing and it led to some really slow chapters, much like a light novel adaption would have.
Oh well, I'll miss the manga, but I'm sure I'll forget about it and move on quickly. Thanks for all the hard work Simple Scans, keep it up.

Good story, nice art, mc is not a wimpy crybaby = axed, Overrated stuff like K-On and strike witches = not, seriously i cant understand japanese otaku minds.

Because its not realistic to them. Japanese men are usually at AKB48 handshake sessions or marrying blow up dolls and games.
