Awesome manga.
Dude, you need more Mizukami in your readings. The man is an awesome mangaka.
It means "congratulations for finishing".
what it means ? 完結おめでとうございます?
I was very confused on the sudden aliens until I realized that it skips from Volume 3 straight to Volume 6. I'm going to see if I can find the missing Volumes to read somewhere.
Not to mention that he seems to have conveniently forgotten that
Hrmm... I've been a mizukami fan ever since Wakusei no Samidare but this is very different. In sengoku youko and samidare, both focus more on invoking emotions towards the reader while telling a tightly knit story. This tho, it was kind of the opposite. Considering that most of the characters we see are "past lives" and all revolve to 1 person, it loses attachment to characters and in turn loses emotion, but Mizukami wove a perfectly interesting story that can draw you in to continue reading w/o qualms. In samidare and sengoku youko, the intros had always been rather dull, boring even and you had to trudge through the first few chapters to get to the good part. In this, it was fun from chapter 1 but that's it. It never goes beyond "cool." Unlike the two I've been mentioning, it rarely has a dramatic appeal (the most I got was 2 teardrops in 2 separate arcs while I've literally sobbed rereading samidare for the 5th time).
Also, I've always been amazed at how Mizukami weaves an ending. Here tho, the ending feels "just right." Its the ending you'd expect, but it didn't blow my mind away. I definitely liked this generally more than sengoku youko (that one was just far to slow till it got 50+ chapters in. Ending's still sweet tho), but its not up to par w/ samidare. Not even close.
Well, that's just my general opinion.
完結おめでとうございます!!
Fortuna's master IS Rei, though. She has the name and everything.
Bruh, that's not Rei, that was his former master in Fortuna's life.
Are we riding the spiral to the end?
With both Sengoku Youko and this having wrapped up, how am I supposed to get my Mizukami fix?
I've already been rereading all his other stuff... But I need something else to keep me busy while I'm crying inside... Happy crying, of course! You thought I'd learnt nothing from all of these stories!?
Um, but she showed up though.
I'm pissed we don't even see Rei again. Honestly, I liked her, would have been a better romance if she showed up.
a story i loved and will always remember. still beaten by sengoku youku and lucifer & biscuit hammer by the same author/artist but all 3 have great protagonists and antagonists. some amazing fight scenes, humor and real feels.

it was good, but well my heart was really touched by Sengoku Youkoi, sooo meh (good, but not awesome)
So there's a chance.
This would make a great anime. Simple, short and sweet, and could use the anime as an excuse to put out an extra chapter.
Ah I'll miss this one.
There was also a two-page afterword, but I didn't have time to translate that. But yeah, that's it.
It's also worth mentioning that if you mean the Samidare bonus chapter, that's not actually included in the last volume. It was in the special volume 10.5 that was a sort of "congratulations on finishing the series" thing that came with an issue of the magazine, and later got reprinted in volume 3 of Mizukami's oneshot collection.
That was ALL of the extras????????
no more like in Samidare last volume????
