They are really not similar at all aside from the premise: Girl from our world is reincarnated as a villainess from a game.

Simply Good Taste for a Duke's Daughter is mainly political/administrative. The focus is advancing the fief and facing the challenges others put in her way to prevent her from gaining power.  She does this with the help of friends/family that she had BEFORE the novel starts.

 

This novel/manga concentrates on Katarina trying to avoid her own death flags... but she's not particularly bright.  There's a reason she's got the titles "Bakarina" and "Black Hole" from the novel readers.  Expect mostly light-hearted shenanigans from this manga. Bakarina is essentially a kind girl who is not particularly good at anything aside from making friends and eating.  However, since her character in the games is a villainess, she believes that is how people see her, no matter how little she actually acts as a villainess.

Well let's just hope we get more chapters soon, I'm really interested on how she will deal with what appears to be a mini Usui.

It's so much fun. I think I remember only one manga where main character was knowingly opposing protagonist of a story. You know, that one, where mangaka wanted to kill off his hero to axe the serialisation. Don't remember the name, but it was also hilarious.

It would be more fun if we had a male main character who gets trapped into some otome game  and he's got to live through all the s#!+ that the female main character comes up with to get their (i.e. the "winnable" heroes) attention (especially his since he is more interesting due to his strong denial to her advances/approaches).

There probably is such a thing. Should be. Oh, and such situation mentioned in The hero union's BBS (only briefly though).

It's a lot less serious and much more comedic. In terms of an actual story, I prefer Duke's Daughter. But this one is really great fun.
