Some people get more heated than others. To imply that an author just "ripped off" another is also fairly insulting to both the author and to fans of the series. Sure, insults aren't necessarily the best go-to option...but I can see where he's coming from (though this series isn't as dear to me that I would get ruffled).

 

On that note, do you need to dismiss him as a lost cause? Ending your statement with "No, never mind. It's probably useless anyways" can can under one's skin just as much as if you were to call them stupid, since they're both things that one would normally think to themselves rather than blurting them out loud to avoid arguments. Attempting to moderate the comments section is admirable (albeit somewhat futile; it's the Internet after all), but there are also better ways to call people out.

Actually, I was just trying to show my disapproval of his behaviour since nobody was showing it just so that he didn't think that nobody disliked that kind of attitude. Not really my intention to moderate anything (it's not my place or my business for that matter) but just wanted to voice my disapproval without engaging in an argument for it.

But you are right: the last part kind of dismiss him as a lost cause and was totally unnecessary. It might even provoke since it was kind of condescending, wasn't it? I was out of line. For that, you have my apologies, Ryuran.

She likes the MC. The author seems to be writing her character as the type of person that finds excuses to get closer to the person she likes, without realizing it herself.

Everybody in this manga is an idiot, but entertainingly so.  Aizawa, why didn't you ask *Shiragami* to retrieve your body?  She knows your secret too, and wouldn't have any troubles getting into the ladies' room...

I did not have very high hopes for this manga. It seemed like one those poor ones that would last 18~ chapters and get canned.

Now, on the other hand...

I fail to see how this was/is/will not a plot device.

In this case, the introduction of a childhood friend is the plot device, whilst the gender bending is a comedic device.

Also, it's unlikely that it becomes a plot device in the future, unless the MC gets bitten or something and he starts to genderbend. Or somehow the werewolf becomes the main heroine.
