In other words, there are more than just one or two of those watches, which doesn't NECESSARILY mean hibino's father is the 'bad guy'?

And it certainly was not a plot twist.
Its given to those who controls the Police itself and they're like a group. And this also explains why Hibino-san dislikes her father.
Aren't gold watches given to higher ranked police officers? At least I'm sure it was stated in a previous chapter. Or I'm hallucinating.
While it's not much of a plot twist, I'm wondering if there's more than one of those watches. It could be he's a part of something that uses those watches as gifts and a sign of members of a special group.
was that really a plot twist? they hinted at that a few chapters ago and honestly I had to go back and look to see if he had not shown his watch until now.
