Description: | Fuuta Okeya is a normal 14-year-old boy, except for the fact that he has the ability to see ghosts. A cute girl transfers into his class one day, but acts particularly aggressive towards him. This girl called Kouko Ishigami is followed around by a ghost called East. Fuuta tries to get along with her but ends up failing after she sees the birthmark he usually keeps covered. She then declares him as her enemy, his birthmark as a cursed brand and claims they have a long history, while talking about reincarnation. Who is this girl and how are they connected? |

Just when you thought he had a good past life in this one, you didn't realize, you were totally off the mark, that was cruel and depressing and this time it wasn't karma or deserved =\
This manga is not good for my heart
Oh god, this series is good to the point of me being upset every time a chapter ends.
dammit don't cry don't cry don't cry don't cry noooooo
Would somebody just say the oldman's name for god's sake. I'm crying here.
Damn...my eyes are sweating
Perfect way to hype myself for my math exam![:(](https://vatoto.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/sad.png)
Chapters and stories like this always leave a bitter taste.
Seeing humans unable to break free of their own mistakes which slowly pile up and only notice it when its too late.
On the bright side, at least Fuuta is able to see the entirety of crucial events of his past lives without actually bearing the same fate.
I'll have to wonder, with all this life experience that he has bear witness to while still a child, how will it affect his daily life and goals going forward, if that girl decides against killing him.
i thought he got away easy this time, but in a way its an even more cruel fate
damn... well its ok i kinda wanted to cry my heart out today.
Damn, all the emotions in this chapter almost broke a dam in my eyes.
a very different story but with the same bitter end
;___;
Huh.................................there's a lot to this chapter I'm not sure I can make any sort of funny comment
Wow, how unboring can this story be. Very rarely do I get to read a story with such a slow pace but still managing to be this interesting. Seriously, I love this author.
I've been meaning to respond to this, so... I suspect that the biggest reason everyone is suspecting Kouko as being the start is because she deflects any responsibility at all. Even in Flor's life, where she was trying to make peace, the first thing she does is blame everything on him.
Now, this is hardly proof that she's responsible for everything, but at the very least, that is the worst possible way to try to make peace with someone. If you're going to try to make peace, at least acknowledge you have a bit of responsibility for several lifetimes of murdering each other.
It would be an interesting twist if it turned out that their souls aren't limited by linear time. If the 'them' in the BC era Africa knows about the 'them' in medieval Europe, it's possible that Fortuna and the incident that spawned all this actually occurs in the far future, not the distant past.
Of course that brings up sticky issues of causality and predestination... which actually sounds exactly like something that this story might aim to tackle.![;)](https://vatoto.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.png)
Ahahaha
the Sphinx is awesome
Well, that was a strange place to end the chapter. Not quite a cliffhanger but I want to read the rest of Flors' story.
reading this is like playing blame. at first it was like kouko fault and then later it was like futa fault and at some point we feel like not both party fault but its just the fate that they become attract to kill each other.
Not roman, if anything it's most likely Greek
The statue is most likely this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Sphinx_of_Giza
Meaning Flors' time is around 2550 BC
Now, Middle Ages
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_Ages
Start at collapse of Roman," 5th to the 15th century"
So you're correct that Vann's story 'should' happens after Flors.
I believe the clue lies here:

I wonder if Flors had some fun with his scholars...
