Very sweet manga, quite nice
I also noticed that the book on the train that made him cry was "Shuna no Tabi" by Miyazaki Hayao. That definitely shows good taste on his part.
I didn't notice that. Such a good movie.
Ah, lovely manga, heartwarming to the end.
thanks for brings us the end, the end!
Annddd ... it is finished up.
It was a very sweet and heart-warming little series to be sure.
Thanks to both the mangaka and the scanlators for bringing us this! ^^
Nice, really nice. Fujimoto Yuuki Sensei did a great job with this manga. The characters have a realistic innocence that is believable to the reader (at least this reader), and it's very touching. The characters aren't cliché, and don't act out of their established character. All in all, a great read. Thanks, The End, for finishing up a great manga for us.
lol did someone notice that the movie they watched in chapter 1 page 18 was Léon: The Professional?
very nice manga, funny, sad and heartwarming at the same time
Guys at different age have kinda different behaviors toward their crush. I for instance behave like this.
elementary school: bully/prank
jr. high: acting cold
high school: awkwardly flirt (really really awkwardly)
college: friendzone (aka treat her like a male friend)
after-college: I like you. Wanna date/have sex?
I kinda reach the epiphany that subtlety will never work, seeing how inconsistent my "hints" were.
I've seen it before in manga, where someone working for a restaurant, a store, or in this case, an amusement park is excoriated by the management for protecting someone innocent from thugs, when the thugs are trying to drag off some girl, beat someone up, grope some girl, or even (in Fuuko no Iru Mise) trying to rape her. The people of Japanese heritage (both Japanese American and Japanese born) that I have known would never act that way. I asked an exchange student from Japan about this a couple of years ago, and she said that any respectable restaurant or other business would ask the customer to leave or call the police, depending on the level of harassment, but would by no means allow an employee or another customer to be treated that way. Is it just one of those "manga" things, or are there enough management people out there who act that way for it to become really recognizable?
Really nice and refreshing. Instant follow.
Amazing, isn't it? I never understood it, myself, but when I was growing up, it seemed that when my peers got a crush on a girl, they either punched her or bullied her non stop. Maybe I was just stupid or something (missed out on some "being a guy class"), as most girls in elementary school found my "be a nice guy" approach on the order of "eww, gross." Oh well, still wouldn't change it. If a girl really likes that approach, it doesn't say much for her intelligence or character, and I wouldn't have really had much to talk about with her.
Manga, Y U SO CUTE? ლ(ಠ_ಠლ)
Well, blimey. A young, awkward boy in a manga who isn't all tsundere when he gets interested in someone. Will wonders never cease?
I like this, this is good. I need MOOOORRRRR
This behavior pattern seems... familiar...
. . . glad the previous chapter wasn't the end for . . . The End.
