Hahahaha, 2 years passed. I actually bought whole series in english and completed it. It stopped being funny halfway, also the ending was bad.

I do not remember why I liked it in the first place.

You've finished it all???? Did you actually buy the licensed english version?
I've been trying to find this maria holic raws and so far I only managed to read it in chinese on dm5.com but their latest was only up to chp 77, volume 11 and it was last updated on may last year. Not that I understand chinese completely, I only can read it so little from the remnants of my mandarin class during highschool like "good, I, you, is/am/are, has/have, no, yes" so I had to use google translate and wrote the pinyin with my mouse, it was really pain in the ass, but nonetheless I still think that it's better than nothing.
Mann, I don't know when is this gonna be updated again, and it's also still a long way until volume 14, if you don't mind, would you please tell me what happens afterwards from volume 11 to volume 14?  just a simple summary would be fine ; - ;
Then again, it's up to you though, because I know it's too much of work to do U_U"

I've been waiting so many years for new chapter. If I weren't that lazy I would have learned japanese by now.

Maria Holic is listed in my Google play store. All the volumes are there except volume 14. Anyone know will it be added in the future?

Had no idea.

The anime is among my favorite. It saddens me to see that the manga was cut so short.

One peace scans are releasing official translations again. if you want to read this series in paper buy their books. or read the official digital translations from kadokawa shoten's bookwalker site. the market system finally delivered.

This was one of the first mangas I did when I was starting out in scanlation. TBH, my level of Japanese back then wasn't up to the task, so I had to put it on hold after one volume (the typesetter was happy to get rid of it too, it was annoying to work on all around). Then I thought I'd resume it, but found out that it got licensed and dropped it for good. A part of me is now curious to see how I'd handle it at my current level, so there is some temptation to pick it up again -- but then I remember that I'm already slacking off on my current projects... and 10 volumes of such a wordy manga is really a big deal. It doesn't look like all that many people are waiting for it breathlessly either, so I'll just banish the thought.

In general, when a project stalls and gets dropped, the readers usually have only themselves to blame for failing to keep the scanlator interested. I would recommend that you all don't make the same mistake with other manga you care about.

thankyou for your efforts.

it's still a great shame though.

You could translate a chapter or two as a way to increase awareness, perhaps someone would be motivated to embrace it again?

sorry that feels too whiny, thankyou, just thankyou.

Isn't it licensed in English? Just buy the official releases.

Yeah, that sounds good but "licensed" in English and "available" in English aren't always the same thing.

Tokyo Pop went out of business after publishing only the first six volumes. There's been no action on its English licensing (in other words actually being published in English) since then (Feb. 2011). So yeah, masher14 is right, a damn shame.

I went through the exact same thing with Princess Resurrection, thank God it was resumed by the fan scanlators. Looks like Maria Holic hasn't been as lucky.

The manga is ENDING THIS YEAR. 10+ volumes just rotting away, never to be enjoyed. What a god damn shame.

Ahh, great. Thanks, Tokyopop.

such a pity that a wonderful manga like this is just acumulating dust in a corner

Such a bummer when english publishers go bust and the series don't continue in any format...

Tokyopop is dead (well not quite dead it seems, but their license for this series is), at the very least it would be nice of some wonderful group to pick up vol 7, this manga doesn't deserve to sit gathering dust in a corner.

Hmmm :(
Somebody needs to work on this series again
Is this series MIA? I see that it has stopped right around where the tokyo pop one did.
No comments?! Oh,well.
This manga is awesome, and the anime rocks!!
