THIS IS SO KAWAI!!!

THANK U FOR STARTING TO TRANSLATE THIS SERIES AGAIN BLESS U

Since the comment section is pretty dead, just letting you know there's people read this!!!

Hello still alive?

I want to read this too.

This is confusing. So basically character development and plot progression ends at 140? Then 300-400 chapters of just comedy? HOW DID HE DO IT!? O_O That is amazing but then again, general comics you see in the paper are like that as well so no biggie. At least here it is established. In certain English comic strips, you don't know when you reach an important point because it is surrounded by an ocean of random jokes and you need a guide or something to know where you are. Like for instance a certain comic had two people, after a serious amount of fighting(comedically) start to open up and even show feelings of affection. Now try to actually FIND that point among all those strips. It is next to impossible and the timeline is too messed up for you to actually bother trying to solve the time puzzle. Missing such point makes you confused when you come to a particular issue where they are all blushy-blushy because the last time you checked, they hated each other.

Chapter 472? O_O that's a big difference.

It's scary how this person's art style evolved...

For those complaining about the quality of HERO's original Horimiya should be reminded that it was intended to be a webcomic and more based on the quality of the contents/story rather than the quality of the art. Their other published works(tankobon formats) are quite consistent in the art quality.

Should I be also waiting for another Horimiya-like scans from the same author?

Asao-san to Kurata-kun! I've found the raws for this but I haven't started yet ^^

I have read most of the raw chapters, somehow I wish the author could do a little more chapters on the past or future stories

Awesome, thanks a lot Kimagure Scans and dokein!!

472? I don't really what's goin' on... But t'was funny XD

I'm doing random (non-spoiler to Horimiya) translation of the extras, which is not in the main story. Hopefully Amarante scans can still continue the main stories.

I think Amarante Scans is dead. Their last update  (according to Batoto) was Dec 2013. You could contact them to confirm though, but I think it's safe to just scanlate/translate whatever chapter you want.

Thanks for the translations btw.

lol how did it went few hundred chapters ahead?

Has anyone read chapter 49? I'm so confused.

A very dangerous and dark chapter :)

I really love being able to read both versions. I really appreciate the scanlation group taking on the task of translating so much material. Good on you guys!

In the original, you can see a gradual evolution in both character and art style over time. In the webcomic version, the artist draws some panels every single week over time and it really gives it a more "moment to moment" feel. That is to say, it's more slice of life than Horimiya. Horimiya is very much a more refined and distilled version in a more traditional shoujo style. There's a lot of stuff in the webcomic that ends up being cut from Horimiya as to keep the story going smoothly.

For those of you who are put off by how amateurish the webcomic looks, if you google the covers of the book version of the comic, that's what HERO's art eventually turns into. The covers are very nice and clean looking in terms of art, if not somewhat simple.

Quite cute!

Cool, thanks a lot Amarante!!

Well, creative typesetting is a good thing, but last chapter was almost unreadable.

Anyway, thank a lot for your work!

We'll change the font/make it thicker/readable in the next chapter ;)

Not only small, it was too thin, I also had hardships reading the chapter^^ Also thanks for the chapter :)

I guess I'll read this one too, thanks Kuwabara.

But one thing is really bugging me... The font used in that last chapter is too damn small );

A lot of people liked the font since it resembled handwriting pretty well, but I'll keep your comment in mind for the next chapter ;)

I guess I'll read this one too, thanks Kuwabara.
