Glad to know that i am still alive to read the closure of this masterpiece. This manga feels like a last parting gift from its author and artists. I grew up watching Full Metal Panic and this series has been favorites throughout the years and will always be one.

Liked the ending. But at the same time I get bit annoyed at manga's where people don't get punished for example, trying to destroy world : )

I had completely forgotten about this series, until randomly skimming through mangas to read. Feels good to finally have closure to it. They went a little to hard into time altering, which is never a good thing, but all is well when it ends with those panels!

So glad i finished this,at some point Chidori started to annoy me and even the direction this manga went was getting too annoying.Because of that i just wound up forcing myself to get to the end,and i am soooooo glad i did,towards the end everything came together perfectly the characters were maturing and no one was getting on my nerves.

 

Although (some) of the drama in this was a little obnoxious it had everything i love in a story,obviously good story telling,good character progress and a amazing ending (though a little cliche) all in all a very good manga

Good manga, Great ending, Excellent time spent.

 

Though I'm the kind of guy who likes epilogues or endings with pictures on the wall showing the future of all our important characters. 

Lovely final chapter. Very good work by the scanlators throughout. I would be lying if I said I did not completely lose track of the plot due to the slow releases, and even the final volume sure as hell had its issues but all in all, I was left with a nice taste in my mouth. Need to re-read this in its entirety someday.

Finally over after all these years, huh? 

 

Thank god I don't even want to bother watching the animes, manga, and the light novels ever again.

Probably alone in thinking this, but the ending felt cheapened by all of the deus ex machina. Weber's revival was at least lampshaded by the author somewhat, but even though Al had his whole "I'm a real boy" build up, it still felt like an ass pull which does not impress. I supposed it's to be expected in shounen, but I'm disappointed in the author's decision after all of the more mature plot before this. Overall, the ending is good if flawed.

 

Yeah it did feel like that a little but I think the author was going for more of a "This world is a pile of shit and everyone you love is going to die" from Sophia but out of a little gumption and luck they miraculously survive which was a luggie spat in Sophia's face in the end. If I look at it like that I thinks it's pretty badass, but I seen worse in the deus ex machina department. Watch any Lord of the Rings films.

 

Also.....it's finally done. Truly on of the greatest mangas I've ever read. Cheers! (The ending made me want to dance)

You have a good point, but this shounen was originally an action/comedy not just pure action although Sigma was mostly dark and heavy. I'd say it almost got too dark in the last quarter, almost negating the fact it was a hybrid action comedy in the first place and not a pure Jack Bauer style suspense/action series.

 

But ya, I feel ya.

I remember being in Highschool when i started FMP anime. Happy to be able to finish this great story.

Thank you very much, Illuminati manga, for the seemingly endless flow of quality releases, making our lives better, providing access to universes that are more interesting than day life and suck much less, feeding our imagination like that... It's a cool thing, highly worthy of our gratitude

I lost track of what happened in the story except the big outline, but nice ending.

NOOOOO I don't want this series to end! I don't want to read the last volume!

I just kept imagining 'Here's to You' playing for those last two chapters.

 

Damn, the cards are dealt, the feels are felt, and straight up I feel like I've been reading this since middle school and don't regret a moment of the ride.

Aww, crap. Now I feel old. FMP was the anime that got me into anime... almost ten years ago.

 

At least the ending was nice.
