One day, little me found myself in a deep, dark, and eerie abyss. It was terrifying, horrible, and sad. My head tilt and found my brother; frozen by the abyss. My eyes search more, but there's only me and my brother... but when I realize it, my brother somehow float up, higher and higher, leaving me in the abyss. Luckily for me, I found a box of match. I always used the match to warm myself, to light up the abyss, yet time by time, all I could see from the glowing light of match is just my nail.

Today, I woke up on my bed. My room is engulfed in the darkness that once I feared so much. My mind went blank, feeling the peace that darkness bring me like no other can. Outside, I heard dripping sound of the rain and chirping of the little bird, crying because of the cold weather. I can move in the wide darkness my room has, without the need for a match. I can pass by the light, because when I went to breakfast, a bigger light is waiting to shine upon the world, and my world.

If something great ever happened to my life, one of it will be when I'm friend with the darkness. If something horrible ever happen, one of it will be when I let myself close my eyes in the darkness.

If you mind, I lived in a gray world just like Oreki Houtarou. And just like him, mine's began to color itself when other stepped in; yet, we both still paint our world in gray. And we both became tired to live in the gray world...
