I'm so glad I read this.
Douman has the right of it. My cat will do such things to try to get extra food. I bite my tongue to avoid giving her negative or positive feedback, either of which she'll count as attention, and therefore try the same stunt often, since getting my attention is the first step towards herding me next to her food in the kitchen.
But then. One day.
She marched over to me with a lonnnng piece of hay in her mouth, which she got from my bunnies. Yes, imagine the kachi-kachi rabbit from Hoozuki no Reitestu helping out with torture here, in this case two (fixed!) white rabbits helping a black cat to prep.
"Uh oh, " I thought, while watching her out of the corner of my eye. "If she eats that, she'll either (disturbing cat stuff in spoiler:
Me: [ignore]
Her: [drops hay on floor & silently looks at me]
Me: [ignorrrre!]
Her: [looks around & notices water-spraying bottle of punishment is out of reach]
Me: [debate reaching for it but that's a reaction so ignorrrrrrrOrrOrrrO-oar!]
Her: [slowly, still as silently, reaches her mouth down to pick up the single straw of hay and then lifts her head, weapon at the ready, and looks at me]
Me: [tense up & ignore]
Her: [CHOMP!]
Me: "Oh, no. you. didn't you spit that out right now RIGHT NOW and NOW you're by your food bowl I don't think so!!!"
Her: [spins out like a motorbike right next to her food bowl and] "Mer-REHR!" [ducks the spray & romps right back to the bunnies]
Okay, okay. She won that battle for attention, but in the war for food, I'm still ahead by the length of an opposable thumb.
The last panel. "Well aren't you amazing?" Killed me. I laughed a lot more than I should have.
the reason we called plot twist a twist is because it is something we didnt expected, thus by giving us a normal ending which he usually didnt do could be called plot twist in its own way
This brings back memories of many mornings spent thinking FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, JUST SIT DOWN ALREADY!!

Well, about cats: one day my grandpa was lying on bed and watching horror movie.
When film reached the moment monster had to come out while he was starring at the screen tensely, suddenly out of nowhere my cat heavily jumped on his chest and looked at him with green-lit eyes; Of course it startled him and was like "you ^&$%^&**&"
Well wasn't that amazing!
True nonetheless, that last panel just sells it.
My cat never walk on me but he puts his claws in me.
Give me more!!! lol
Hahaha! I wake up every day with my cat stepping over me!
This is just so much win.
Made me laugh so much I got a headache on the second page because how true this is.
My cat does this all the time! He's such a troll.
