| Description: | I decided to scanlate Hana no Saku Koro when I realized it hadn’t been done yet. Sharing more of Hayakawa Nojiko’s work with the English-speaking world was my my main goal in doing so. Practicing my translating skill is a huge motivator for me to continue scanlating, so expect things to pop up here sporadically. Some other BL mangaka I enjoy are Takarai Rihito, Nakamura Asumiko and Yamamoto Kotetsuko, particularly for her love of birds. Oh yeah, why I chose the name “karei ni.” I like Kotomine Kirei and Caren Ortensia, and one day I realized you could combine their beauty-related names to produce a third beauty-related word. I thought this was hilarious. Additionally, the entire phrase is one of Raven from Tales of Vesperia’s battle quotes, and the world needs more ossan love. As for why it’s lowercase… I like lowercase. Although my work might not be resplendent, I like to think I do a pretty good job. That said, if you catch an error I’ve made, please let me know so I can fix it! |
