See that dude you see at parties chatting up with everyone like a social butterfly or something. Everyone seems like they know him, right? He just have it all. Wanna know how he's really doing that? He's a really funny charming intelligent athletic guy with blue eyes and an awesome job. You thought that's what i'll tell you? FUCK NO. All he is doing is saying "hi" Sounds fucking simple. But believe me, people are fucking desperate to talk given that you just make them a bit comfortable. How do you do that? Simple, just think of them as your best friend. Pick an hobby, something that interest you... anything. Stick to it for a year or 2. You'll become good at it. That'll you give a lot confidence. Bonus point if it's an outdoor activity.
10 seconds rule. Wanna talk to someone? Think about it for 10 seconds and just go for it. No more than 10 seconds. What's the worst that can happen? Someone will tell you to fuck off. Someone who prolly was a stranger to begin with. Remember 10 seconds, the more you'll think about it, the more you'll want to avoid the situation.
When you walk, walk confidently and slowly. Make eye contact with people. It'll be awkward if you're not used but do it. Don't you fucking dare look at the ground.
Don't give a shit to what people think of you. No one's paying attention to you as much as you think they are. Just do what you wanna do. Oh, and women? Treat them like normal people. Cause really, that's what they are. Normal fucking people. It'll get better with age though.
