In Topic: Replacing speed scans done by a different scanalator

Active groups often get into cock whipping contests. Speed scanning persons like Impatient Guy did their thing and now they're dead.  If you don't understand this, then <insult redacted> you.  Suck <insult redacted> with your low quality <insult redacted>.  I'm  not releasing any more on your <insult redacted> web site.

If you want scanalators to make this their release site, you need to do better.

Most viewers don't follow.  Compare the viewership numbers at batoto and baka-updates with the page views at mangafox.  Mangafox may be exaggerating their page views, but if they are even remotely accurate then only about 1% use "follow".  (implied users = page views per month divided by pages released per month).

BTW, what's this spots thing?

Oh yeah, here's my use case.  Right now I could release MQ versions of LQ releases of Umi no Misaki, work on Nicoichi c30 that I scanned and is on my drive, or scan the next chapter of Happy Negative Marriage that I have in my closet.  Some stats would help me know if anyone was even reading my Umi no Misaki updates.

Also, it would be extremely easy to implement.  Use Google Analytics.

Of course Batoto doesn't want to get involved in spats between scanalators.  However, it's a little different when the group in question is defunct and have announced that they not continuing work.
