have you tried asking anyone irl? my translator was just a random kid I met at a party tbh.
Are you trying to start a new group? maybe you can try doing a couple of joint projects with groups that already have translators, and once you have enough readers you can include recruitment ads in your site updates and in your chapter uploads.

That I haven't tried.
My group's not new, just seriously understaffed, our only translators are 2 people that translate bit by bit when they have the time, and they don't have a lot of it.
I'm trying to do that now, but doing a collaboration requires me finding another group to cooperate with first.
Which I've had no luck in yet.

I haven't even tried finding cleaners yet, I kinda figured they'd be a dime a dozen.
Though, as the main cleaner of my group(we have two at the moment), I'm quite
the perfectionist, so it may be tough for me to pass over some of the responsibility...
