Kaal Ratri
Remy seemed distant at first, spaced out. Maybe pondering over something but Kaal’s word brought her right back. A smile crept her placid features as Kaal finished speaking, her words or something of the past Kaal couldn’t be sure as to what brought the change. With a slight sigh she began to open up a little to the Deity. Her emerald orbs fixed on her own. She told what Kaal had felt, her origins weren’t of this realm. She was a traveller like herself coming from a distant realm of On’Man. Although never been there personally, Kaal knew another of her divine kindred to have made that realm her base. She was an entity of light and same in essence to her elder sister for she had power over creation.
As power leaked from the Magi and the room became gradually cooler Kaal felt more comfortable and somewhat thankful to the Magi, it reminded her of her sister’s abode between the frigid mountains, forgotten memories came to fore as she heard onto the Magi’s tale. Her imagination had always been good but the Magi was lucid in her explanation manipulating an ice orb that pictured all the details she told.
There was happiness, one sided love, longing and betrayal all the emotions she had seen repeated over the eons she had existed in the Magi’s tale. She also mentioned many similarities between the people of her place and here. Kaal could feel a certain tremble in her voice as she elaborated on some of them. She told her of the fate that was in store for her world. The thought of death, the realization of true love and discovery of the identity of the one who had always loved her. Standing near her like a guardian yet never letting his emotions known explicitly. She told how she came to this realm and the inescapable fate of her world and finally her little confession. The look of apprehension that mirrored in both her slender body and emerald eyes as she disclosed a secret she had held on to since her arrival.
Kaal felt her hands move themselves and cup the beautiful face in them, her obsidian bottomless eyes looked straight into the quivering emerald ones. “For the one who has such sway over time, you sure are fickle as the ones I have known.” she said in a gentle tone. “You waited till you were sure you won’t survive to warm up to him before. Don’t repeat the same mistake twice, love. Yours is as true a love I have seen, I certainly hope you have more courage.” continuing in her soft tone not taking her eyes off hers.
“Do not fear rejection for trepidation runs on both sides. You both will wait for the world’s end again and lose your chance. If that is not the kind of love you want, you have to seize the day here and now. Take him up in your arms and sway him from his feet, you gotta do the man’s work this time.”she lectured the petite elf.
“If I know who you are after, I know he loves waiting far too much to make a move first. We usually don’t know a things’ worth till after we have lost it. It is a terrible cliche but also an irrefutable truth.” with this she brought the magi close and took her in a tight embrace. She could feel a slight shiver in the Magi but was sure there was no place her warmth can’t reach. She waited for the magi’s reply, the fun and chatter was turning a little glum for her liking but she was capable of deep pondering if it came to that.
