Feeling pretty lazy just before bed, so this will have to do.

Found my way here after seeing it posted randomly on /a/ (and seeing ever increasing hate pages directed towards MF on their stolen uploads) and loving it ever since. It's certainly doing a very good job of fulfilling the hole in my heart that was left when mangatoshokan got wrecked by THE MAN (also known as those law dudes). It's nice to have a site that isn't hated by the scanlators, and is quite sleek and professionally done, in my opinion.

As for personal stuff, 21, live in everyones favorite (or hated) country of US, land of the fat, free and loudmouthed in hell (arizona) and greatly enjoy most types of mangos (shoujo generally excluded) with a particular love for type-moon, and manhwa. Koreans know how to make their chicks badass (or just bitches, your mileage may vary).

I believe why batoto is more appealing is because scanlators actually get something out of having their scans up on this site then on mangafox where they hog all the money

I'd imagine so. As much hate as I'll probably get for this, I'm a bit lazy and having a single site that has a follow list that shows when my reads updates that also supports the scanlators sure beats having 50+ bookmarks for each group, and some having their own readers while others just have a DDL.

And as others have posted above, lots of links that shows why MF gets all it's hate. The last thing us readers want is to get watermarks or delayed or dropped due to websites like that pissing them off scanlators. Everyone loses when that happens.

A certain character from Advance Wars: Days of Ruin. Although I have a 2nd that I use more often (due to this one being taken more than likely) that is used from demons souls.

In Topic: Manga: Art or Plot?

Plot is about a thousand times more important to me than art. The art would have to be abysmally terrible to prevent me from reading it.

However lately I find the characters extremely close behind plot in terms of what will keep me going or dropping it. I have dropped a couple of what looked to be interesting reads due to not being able to like ANY of the characters.


wait, what's a "light novel?" could someone define/ give an example of one?

A light novel is basically the same as a normal book, from what I can tell. Hell I remember seeing a screenshot of some 7th volume on horizon and it was as big as a phone book. (Tired so there's a 50% chance I'm wrong on that last part)
