I like how Batoto's old mods are basically Mangadex's new mods

I am technically not a mod for MangaDex. There are currently 3 actual mods for MangaDex: Lymus, Robo, Electromaster

While Electromaster is a former batoto mod, Robo and Lymus are not. The other Batoto staff have not really interacted with Mangadex much.

Wrong place for this question, but is there a "mark all as read" function somewhere? 

 

After I imported my Batoto follows, all the old chapters show as unread.  For series with hundreds of chapters, toggling the read status seems to require opening every chapters.  Re-reading is an option for me with some shorter series but for others it is quite tedious.

I agree with that too. A mark all as read function would be nice. A few others have put in that suggestion in the MangaDex Discord suggestions channel.

Hopefully it gets implemented in the near future.

On a side note:

If anyone has any questions for me or would like to report something for Vatoto, it will be faster to reach me through Discord.

The next best thing would be to shoot me a pm here and hope I check my email in a timely manner.

Where does it list the last read chapter in the follows menu? I can only see an indicator on each manga page.

This response is pretty late, but there should be eye's on the side of the chapters on the manga page if you are logged in.

Those eyes will appear for chapters that you have opened. You can click on the eyes to un-mark the chapter.

Search was broken when the switch to Vatoto happened. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if anything could actually be done about it at this point ...

I was redirected there too, when I checked it after reading your post. The footer said something to the effect of: All right reserved to AnyACG, 2010-2018. And the title was indeed MangaWindow (which I confess I've never heard of).
Someone on the Batoto discord (edit: a user, not anyone from the staff) had claimed that they had bought the domain (they were one of the people trying to write up a Batoto replacement). Not sure if it's the same person.

If you are refering to Geonode, he was joking about it. Also, I feel like his project is more of a hobby project than a serious one with regards to becoming a replacement site contender. (Which is fine. Hes doing it for fun for now.)

sad to see batoto go, i will never forget 1/18/18 now, rip batoto (but seriously i will never forget 1/18/18 cuz i got married same day lol )
