It's nice, but isn't it a bit girly? Perhaps you could draw her in a ninja or something? You also really draw like an anime, are you Japanese? xD

Making the picture ‘girly’ was pretty intentional, maybe next time I’ll try something different.

And lol, no I’m not Japanese.

Ever thought of trying more...Vivid, saturated and contrasted palettes? Your paintings always seem very stiff to me as if you keep rinsing them in water after you're done. |: Do you happen to actually use water-colours or crayons?

Yeah colour/value is something that I still need to work on, most of the time I think things are too saturated. One of these days I really should use the color-picker to find out what sort of  palettes other artist use. The lack of saturation may be due in part to my process of starting off with a very dull background then adding colours on the same layer. For example:

I haven’t done any colouring traditionally for a while now, usually I just use pen or H/HB/B pencils.
