I guess you can call this a pre new years resolution thread.  What goals do you plan to set?  What is your deadline for those goals (if any)?  What steps are you taking to reach your goals?

1) Learn common Kanji

Deadline: 90 days

Steps:

-Memorize 30 symbols per day using mnemonics to keep them in my head.

2) Lose weight (about 20 pounds)

Deadline: None

Steps:

-Eat healthy

-Drink lots of water

-Exercise 3 times a week for 1 hour

-Ditch the junk food

3) Finish my video game demo

Deadline: Late 2018

Steps:

-Draw the cutscenes

-Design the gaming environment

-Choreograph the action scenes

-Program the demo

Save money to hire the following:

-3D model artist

-Voice Actors

-Sound effect artist

-Music Artist

-3D environment artist

Hi, my birthday is coming up and I want to hold a special event on twitch where I stream a game for two hours and at the end of the stream, a viewer can win some money via paypal.  Is making a thread about such a thing considered spam?  If not, what forum sections could I post this in?
