So, this is my official 'I'm pulling out' notice. I've already talked with Hero, but...

All I can say is sorry.

The day had started off so promising, as they were doing a simple escort mission, escorting The Tradesman across the Azurian  Orebors, but it had become quite the nest for sky pirates. What this meant for Jinxy was that she needed to make sure she was keeping an eye on the engine, make sure everything was running smoothly, and there were no hiccups. The last thing anyone wanted was for them to crash land while trying to protect the shipping vessel.

Jinxy groaned as she pulled herself out from one of the engines and hauled herself to her feet. Everything was running smoothy, as was expected. She always made sure that the ship was in tip-top shape, so there was nothing to fix or maintain that day. She pulled a rag out of her pocket and started rubbing the engine fluids off her hands, and then her face, which only resulted in her getting some of her trademark smudges on her face. She tucked the cloth back away in her coverall pocket and looked around the engine room and smiled a bit.

She walked out on the deck and stretched a bit, mostly keeping to herself for the moment. The captain was conversing with Annaveya, as well as Lindo. There was no need to intrude, and there was no need to give the captain any updates.

Things stared rapidly changing, and for the worse, when the winds seemed to change. Something was wrong, and both the second mate and the captain could sense it. Jinxy was not one that understood the winds or how things were, but she could hear something in the wind. The sound of another engine that was neither The Dagger or The Tradesman. Something was coming to attack them. Probably going to attack the merchant vessel.

She could hear the cries across the deck and knew that they were preparing for war. As her magiteck was kept under lock, she ran to the engine room to get a pair of normal sais, as she didn't want to be unarmed for when the battle began. She knew that some of the crew would be making sure that they were doing well. She heard the cannons and arms go off, and made a mental note to check the parts after the battle if asked.

She heard the call for no rune magic, and nodded to herself. So just normal weapons and fists. She got it.

She entered the fray with the others, and fought tooth and nail against the pirates, and hopped over to the Pirate ship, and took the fight to them when they were close enough. A man with a pair of guns, apparently one of the two pirate leaders appeared. She saw Annaveya cross over with her, and claim the man as her opponent. However, guns were tricky, and while Annaveya was talented, it wouldn't hurt to help the Third Mate out.

"Mind if I join the dance, Annaveya?" She said and dashed in, slashing at the man's left wrist with her right hand, hoping to get him to drop his gun, before she dropped to slash across the back of his leg, going for the tendon.

Spoiler

Oi, easy with the whips & chains now, I'd prefer my RPers be un-traumatized by the local tyrant.

But... what if I like it?
