In Topic: My Watch List disappeared, what to do?

I had the same problem this morning, a missing watch list. I went to redo it after reading this post, but clicking the watch button gave me the message, "You have stopped watching the comic." Clicking it again gives the, "You have started watching the comic successfully." My front page however still says I have no watched items. Does the Follow feature work better?
