Maoyuu for those who don't know it:

(there are several different manga of this story, but I think this one is the best)

 

Recently I've read this story called "maoyuu maou yuusha" and I really liked the plot,

the whole hero and demon king (in this case queen) working together thing, a medieval word and etc.

 

I wanted to read more stories like this and so I've come to seek help from my fellow batotonians.

Please note that I'm looking for stories, doesn't need to be manga. It can be an anime, or perhaps a light novel or... whatever? I'm literally just looking for any kind of stories that is similiar to this.

 

And yes, I know of Spice and Wolf already, which I did like as well!

 

So, if you know of any stories like maoyuu, please share them with me?

It was focused on comedy, The story was about a guy who had a pathetic death and was offered reincarnation in another world with a item of his choice... So he chooses the goddess who offered him reincarnation... And then begins his adventure with a water goddess to defeat a demon king or some shit like that.
...
Yeah. Makes sense.

That's about all I remember but I would like to continue reading it, so I've come to seek the help of the batotonians. Any one of you remember a story like that?
