Retired Japanese/Korean-English translator since there is no fun anymore. I'm with Spanish translations 'cause my friends and because it got pretty much interesting than other languages.

It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance~ though I must say despite being able to read and understand different languages, don't you find it discombobulating to flip between multiple languages when given a source such as a novel or imagery or to be honest, a portmanteau of the two? I've always had difficulty adjusting when a character flips between English and another language to be honest, despite knowing both languages. I suppose it's the phenomenon known as "lost in translation"?
...I FORGOT TO TURN OFF THE POMPOUS SPEECH D: QQ In any case, Hiya thar~ Welcome to Batoto and enjoy your stay~ from your fellow new person~
I have finished all my previous works with English scanlators, and occasionally help some of them. And I don't mind reading stuff in Japanese or Korean, as well as other languages.
As you said, it's sometimes difficult translate and adapt the same text to different languages that have and use different kind of expressions, sayings, and other things.
Well, that's one of the issues that a translator has to bear everyday ^^
I have some things in mind, but I'm not sure if it's worth to translate since I can't bring myself to "translate" the stile and the "background feeling" that you can feel by reading the original.
Welcome to batoto....<--------LaZy
I'm lazy too ^^, thanks!
