The taxi was going just fine, with the background music that made my heart beat fast. Though I’m not the ‘oldies’ type of person but that song really moved me that night.

Be My Lady - a phrase i never seemed to feel before, but that night, it thrilled me to hear those words again and again. I was not sure why but maybe because i was sitting beside the person who IS so dear to me. The very same person I hate to be with because i had always lost for words that made us both silent and looked such fools. But what the heck? You’re with ‘the’ person you longed to be with, so what’s the use of words, right? I was happy just by the fact that he was beside me. I was already satisfied.

Be My Lady - I heard it again. However that time, coming from him. Trying to follow the foolish song. That very moment, i couldn’t help but to look at him and stop myself from giggling. He looked at me and smiled with embarrasment. I never thought those things could happen, the exact things i only imagined. Am i blessed enough?

Be My Lady - A moment later, I felt his head laid on my right shoulder. I knew he was tired and so was I. I didn’t move, i didn’t want him to take his head off my shoulder for a second then, it was the first time i heard him breathe so close to me. I let him rest, as i enjoyed the view outside the taxi. The moon was shinning brightly, telling me that i should rest too for we were in the middle of the night. The mid lights coming from the few cars passing by us were expressing that that moment could last forever.

Be My Lady - The last time i heard those words that night. As he took his head and firmly laid it down to the back of our seat. I wanted to rest too, but i was afraid. I was scared to fall asleep. I wanted to see everything through our journey until it ends. Even though my head was giving up, I still fought my restlessness and forced myself to sit straight. Still, another moment had passed, i didn’t notice he touched my hair gently. I thought he was asleep. He smiled at the way i reacted then looked the other way. For a moment, he didn’t know i was staring at him as he was falling asleep. Then another song played.
