First post. Thanks for being by far the best place where I could find reliable uploads and collections of a lot of manga. Found some of my favorite series through Batoto and the website was always reliable, easy to use, and provided a great hub for a large number of scanlation projects to upload their work, and for fans to follow them and receive immediate notifications when their favorite series updated.

I hope whoever is bidding on the domain name will attempt to retain the site here, or that higher ups on the site have been trying to organize a replacement website. I am disappointed that it is not simply being passed off to another who wants to run it, by scrubbing your info and handing it off or something, considering many people are being asked to back up their work and the site itself. It is fair to be burnt out on trying to run something that is such a massive effort like this. But there are so many small groups that use Batoto as their primary host, and there are a massive amount of uploads and scanlations that might never make it to other sites as they are dead projects. Hopefully there is someone ready to pick up the giant hole that Batoto will be leaving behind for the scanlation community. One of the great benefits of Batoto was not having to follow individual sites for every team or use worse online readers, now most people are going to be forced to find individual group discords or websites to track down their manga, and distribution for these groups will be much harder.

All that being said. It is completely fair to be burned out on a project that has taken a lion's share of your time for years.

Thanks for all your hard work over the years. You have left your mark on many people across the world. I will miss Batoto greatly. Godspeed.
