The potato thing is nothing special really; after a while more and more people on this site were commenting on how "Batoto" sounds fairly close to "potato", and somehow it eventually just got implemented into both forums and user ranks...

Take my advice, though. Stay away from the "Family". Please. I don't want to lose more innocent souls to that strange place...

Ah sorry about the whole potato thing, got out of hand, I was just trying to get a hang of the culture here.

Thanks! Alive was a very nice manga, and what made it more thought provoking was the fact that the author died soon after drawing the last bit, so it sort of echoes the dying mangaka's thought process.

@quiet_kid: get crackin! Start one by one, FMA, Kekkaishi, Alive, etc, they are all completed series, so you will at least not suffer a craving for a next chapter with these.

Hello there!

Hi, I am ryzvonusef, I am from pakistan, and I am a HUGE ToG fan.

So much so that I take time out of my studies to maintain the Tower of God subreddit. It's a humble community there, around 130 or so followers in the month or so I started modding it, but It's gaining a foothold slowly and surely.

As for other series I am following, I generally follow Naruto and Silverspoon in manga, and Noblesse and Trace 1.5 in Manhwa. (There are other series I like but they have ended, e.g. Kekkaishi [READ IT NAOZ!], FMA etc)

I prefer Books, to be honest, and I am a big fan of Brandon Sanderson, Jim Butcher, Kevin Hearne, Brent Weeks...(you know, the usual '10s Fantasy clique...)

Thanks for maintaining an AMAZING community here, I generally follow the ToG Subforum, and I think we have a nice thing going.

Oh come on, that's gross generalisation. That's like assuming all manga reader have a tentacle porn fetish.

Are there numbnuts on reddit? Hell yes, by the bucket loads.

But then we have these quieter niches, where there is alot more sanity.

For example, I am a (student) accountant, and I have subscribed to /r/accounting and we have our own niche going on, away from the turmoil of the more common reddits.
I monitor my reddit constantly, and as of yet, I have not noticed any untowards behaviour.

Thanks, I get what you are saying, reddit has an image problem, that it need to sort out, otherwise there are some absolutely amazing reddits, that have nothing to with the trolls.
