Technically, no, it is not breaking the rules as it is within set limits. On a more personal note, I do find long signatures annoying.

I agree, I don't mind posting something short or to the point or posting something long in a spoiler tag, but it's pretty distracting from reading the forum if a signature gets in the way. It's especially a problem if such a person posts many times in a single page... I just thought of a new suggestion...

I personally don't find yours to be that bad, but if I came across many of your posts in one page it would get a little distracting (but I made a suggestion thread for that very thing).
