All that warm steam forms a nice humid, warm atmosphere inside - these are the PERFECT conditions for bacteria and the likes to grow!

One dumps loads of ash into the air pretty much suffocating you while the other can send a wave of up to 21 meters of water charging towards you. Whether you be on the coastline or landlocked your screwed.

The danger of dumping Nuclear waste into molten magma

The radiation from the waste will still be there and there is no real way of speeding up the half-life reaction without the tardis or some kind of time-bending space continuum

The radiation will not turn you into a mutant, but will surly mess up one genes and get cancer

That is the lesson I learn while thinking of "what if this happen scenarios"
