I have not been touched by a manga series like I have been by this one since I read Bitter Virgin (link:http://vatoto.com/comic/_/comics/bitter-virgin-r110). I was just wondering if any other readers of this series have read others that are as touching as this one.

Hi! I didn't know the manga you mentioned, so I had a read before replying... It's quite good, and the ending doesn't suck (which is kind-of-rare). Have you read Usagi Drop? Has something in common with Papakiki, but it's finished... Main con, the ending needs improvement

I read the light novel and it was really touching....I've heard those who are fathers can really sympathize with this series. Personally I found the manga lacking, it relies a lot on loli-ecchiness which the novel doesn't do.

If you haven't done the research yourself, here is the link to part of the translated light novels: http://www.baka-tsuki.org/project/index.php?title=Papa_no_Iu_Koto_o_Kikinasai!#Volume_2_.28Full_Text_-_E-Book_versions.29

It's only up to volume 3 / 12 (13?) volumes... Definitely on my must read list! ^_^  also it's nice that you have the option there to download it as an e-book (altought reading it on a pc/tablet might prove usefull if only for the illustrations)
