Probably of plastic (normal PVC i guess?), its normally the fact they are so tall is the reason for the price tag.

Also the fact that they remember pretty well the "Supply and Demand" (Few products and many customers= high price)

But meh, 18000 dollars? I'll just make do with the small version that fits inside my house! (And because shipping it across the seas without getting damaged or paying less than 1000 dollars might be impossible)

Yes, it helped birth many of us. XD you might want to do something about that grammar.
But yes, very few anime deliver as NGE does.

No. I do not want a live action of hollywood version. I don't want any new versions. I'd like to see original 1-24 + EoE get reworked scene for scene. Better animation, better drawings, but no changes to a single frame of it.

We've already seen how not NGE the Rebuild is. What do you think Hollywood would do to it, or how bad the Live Action would be with crappy acting, overexagarated poses and whatnot and CGI would be just toilet.

 

Guillermo del Toro showed us how fucking amaizing it could be, but NGE is also over 8 hours long. It would be hard to create the feeling of the original NGE and maintain it's quality and atmosphere. So I'd rather not have the reputation of the original blamished by remakes and failed attempts.
