The OST of Fate/Zero composed by Yuki Kajiura is a masterpiece.

Point Zero, Let the Stars Fall Down, If You Leave, and Tragedy and Fate are my personal favourites.

The soundtrack from the game Braid is really really nice. I've listened to it a lot while working or studying.

Oh boy do I love me some good OST.

As part of my preference a lot of my fav OSTs come from turn-based RPGs. Some notable ones are from the ever-famous Final Fatansy, Disgaea, Shin Megami Tensei (Main and spinoffs), Breath of fire, and so on.

But I also like OSTs of some other games like Zelda, Mario, Castlevania and even classic Sonic.

I have to say I was really impressed with the entirety of Last Exile's OST (the first one, not the newer series.) It really completed the world. I remember looping that for like a year straight.

Otherwise Berserk's was really impactful. Like the various styles used. The open/ed as well but the rest of it is also fascinating. It's a roller coaster.

It's lyricy, but by design, I thought Bubblegum Crisis's was interesting, how the music was a main feature and constantly changing as another engine of storytelling. The original especially but also 2040. kind of brilliant. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajTAnMqhZB8
It's done by the various Macross series as well but I thought it was especially novel here.
Also lyricy and kind of cliche but both FLCL and BECK's OSTs really did good things for me too in a more straight forward, less atmospheric but more front and center kinda way.

Also not gonna lie I listen to the first Naruto OST kind of a lot. It's used in a lot of variety shows as well. Something about those vague manly shouts alongside reed pipes make me feel like workin'.

Both Mononoke Hime and Spirited Away's OST was spectacular as well. I like folky things.

There's a bonus track from the Best of Inuyasha 2 cd, one of the movie themes I think, that's just beautiful.  Scarbough Fair scans to it.

Several of the tracks on the Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica and Blood+ OST's are quite nice.

Perhaps a bit more left field:

the OP's of Star Trek DS9 and season 5 of Babylon 5(well, any season of B5, five is just the best),

Captian Picard's flute solo from the TNG episode "The Inner Light,"

the newer Narnia movies' OST's,

an odd cd I picked up at the Louvre back in '03, "Beatles Go Baroque,"

And I love a nice Celtic reel or jig: Gaelic Storm, Altan, Capercaille, Riverdance and related shows.

I actually love almost all the OSTs from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles.

I have one as my cell phone ringtone, but when my sister heard it, so told me: "That's a depressing song..."
