Parts of a PlotStory Goal - What is story trying to solve or achieve (Obvious goal: Become Hokage( real goal: People to respect him) ( world peace ..naruto)( Bleach doesn't have one)
Consequence - What happens if the main character doesn't achieve the goal. ( Stays genin( destroys the world)(nine tails takes over)( World ends)
Requirements - What does the main character need to achieve this goal? What events need to happen. These show that the character is close to the goal. These is important for emotion control of the reader for positive emotions. ( learn knew skills, control nine tails, meet farther, other student, make friends, save the day.)
Forewarnings - These allows the reader to glimpse into the future. What bad (consequences) happens when the character gets closer to the goal. This is important to control the emotions of the reader. Giving them fear and tension. ( Sasuke gets jealous and runs away)( People die)
Cost - There is a price to be paid for everything. What will the main character/s have to pay to achieve the goal. These is proof that the goal matters to the character ( lose there family,friends, cat,dog, arm, eye, soul,pride,self respect, love,teacher)
Dividends - The opposite of cost. These are the rewards for a the journey( promotion in rank, friends(naruto), meet the family from beyond the grave, gold,fame,glory)
Prerequisites - Things that need to happen before the requirements are meet. ( Must rescure sasuke before naruto becomes hokage, eat the magical pill before she enters the a new world that starts her adventure, defeat the dragon to get the key to save the prince)
Preconditions - Conditons or rules that make it harder to achieve the goal ( Low stamia for sports, afriad of blood (doctor), fail the exam three times (naruto), can't got outside after 5pm)
Plot Development - how the character acts throught the story. Must decide traits/methods/ablities that hinder of help him/her/it
Climax - Desicive or important moment occurs which decides if the story goal will be achieved. This is where you might set up the reading for the ending.
Resoultions
1. Comedy (happy ending): the protagonist achieves the goal or solves the problem, and his success turns out to be a good thing.
2. Tragedy: the protagonist fails to achieve the goal, and his failure is a bad thing.
3. Tragi-comedy (Personal Triumph): the protagonist fails to achieve the goal, but his failure turns out to be a good thing.
4. Comi-tragedy (Personal Tragedy): the protagonist achieves his goal, but his success turns out to be a bad thing.
