[Aurora]

I don't often draw, nor have I ever posted on the "Artsy Corner" until now, but I hope this goes well.

I did this to practice on my facial expressions, especially the EYES. In addition, most of these are fan art of Ikeyamada Go--NO COPYRIGHT.

Note: I draw these as I'm reading the manga, so I apologize if they're messy here and there. And yes, I try to use both side of the paper completely.

It's drawing eyes eh, I do the same for hair back then.
I agree, eyes can be so expressive depending on how you draw them.

Oh, the first one that you're referring to is from a Shiraishi Yuki's manga, I think, I'm not very certain, and I think that goes for the second one. I really need to label them, if I want to give my respects to the mangakas. Also, I was horrible at tones & shades in the past, but I guess practice does help. Overall, I want to thank you for the kind words,so--thank you!!!

Thank you very much! And there's no problem in "lurking," I do that too, sometimes.
Also, don't put yourself don't when it comes to drawing and if you're still not self-assured, "practice makes perfect."

Are you kidding me? It's great, I can't believe the way you managed to perfectly blend those shadows. No smudge at all, just smooth, flawless fading on a minute scale. Wow.
