I tend to stay away from oriental horror mainly because they inspire nothing but genuine terror in me, I don't know what it is, oriental ghost stories and movies scare the hell out of me, though I can't think of the vampires (Geung Si) as anything but comical. My favourite western horror films however, would probably be the Romero zombie films, Alien 1&2, the Thing, 28 Days Later and Thirty Days of Night (on account of that glorious overhead shot of the camera panning across the town giving us a perfect view of the vampires ripping everyone to pieces). Actually, do You're Next and Cabin in the Woods count? if so them too.

Favorite horror movie?
Nightmare on Elm Street (the original)
Gave birth to the best villain ever. Big Freddy fan. I didn't like the remake very much.
