In honor to Kurt (and trying to avoid other topics to be raped): tell us some story about your country!

Well Belgium has been conquered by lots of people over the last few hundred years. Like the Spaniards, the Dutch, the French and others.

We still have awesome beer and fries!!

the Philippines was raped by the Spaniards (for 333 years), the Americans and the Japanese.
we're pretty much like spanish people minus the general genetic hotness. and a lot of our words are derived from spanish words :/ our culture too.
fiestas, siestas among other things, like food.

We don't get in other people's business, but Obama dropped by Libya last year.

lol sex tourism. that's more of a thai thing than philippines, but i do know cybersex is an issue here, exploiting kids and stuff.

Kid exploitation, sometimes I don't get it too~ but hopefully it doesn't sum up to judge our country in that light only.
I still love my country though this things happen~~ fault of my ancestors I guess, and fault that the new generation doesn't confronts the issue.

Don't worry, I haven't judged anything. It's the only knowledge that has reached me thus far. That's all. I do know it's way too little to make any judgment from.
There are probably a lot of things that are good about your country. So, why don't you give me some examples?

Any special food, traditions, crazy coolness, or?
