I think many who watch J-drama have heard of this or watched it before.

For more info about it: http://wiki.d-addicts.com/1_Litre_no_Namida

One sad story.

I remember the first time I watched 1 litre of tears, every episode made me cry and in the end my eyes were all swollen :(

it really is captivating and the fact that it's a true story really makes it touched others. Even if I watched it several times I ended up always crying. Am not a crybaby okay? HAHAHA :>

Remember watching this years and years ago. I think when I was in High School. Every episode made me cry. I remember skipping several parts because it was too heart-breaking. :)

I've never watched it, but I gotta say...that's the most subtle title ever.

Guess I could have a look, if it's really that good. I usually don't really fancy J-dramas though. The japanese are such bad actors...>.<

Try Korean drama, it's superior. :B

Yes, I know lol. And if anyone knows their way around the horror genre, that too would be the Koreans...

...I actually prefer J drama over K drama. But I guess it has something to do with the type of shows you watch. Galileo and Death Note were nice ;o and so is 1 litre of tears.

Same here. I find Korean actors extremely unbearable to watch.

And a lot of K / Taiwanese dramas have idols in it just to get viewers/customers...some of the idols don't even fit the role as well as other actors D:

I first came upon this title after looking through Japanese songs on youtube and came upon K- "Only Human." After watching that heart wrenching video, I told myself to watch it, but after hearing the comments from people I couldn't bear watching it. And here I am, two years later (?), and I still haven't watched it [,but I will, soon or someday!].

I'm the same. Every episode made me cry. I watched it early morning till night that when I woke up from my deep slumber my eyes were swollen. It's really a very touching story. I have a neighbor who had the same disease like Aya. He died though. :(

It didn't make me cry since I read the original diary or w/e you want to call it so it was totally unreal for me. I mean even without the foreknowledge it just looked sappy and over the top emotional, got pathetic at the end.

  • Locationhopefully not in the hands of confused lewd teenagers.

watched it spring of 2011.

cried in each episode and since one episode was an hour, and there are 10 episodes i could say i cried 1litre of tears too.

the movie is okay.. but i prefer drama.

i got so emotionally involved and since i did a whole marathon for 2 days or so and my dad was worried something was wrong with me. i told him about it and he bought a novel and read about.

was really sad cuz well, true story and all that..
