Last one was Innocence Proves Nothing by Sandy Michell. The character creation was okay but a little difficult to differentiate between some of them, and it didn't help that he gave you like 20 characters within the first 2 chapters to memorize.

A really great fantasy book.
The main character is detective who is also a wizard. He helps the police investigate "weird" cases. The setting is more like Noir style detective series with a hint of fantasy than the other way around. Butcher is doing a hell of a good job to make the main character Harry insteresting. Give it a read if you haven't already, you will not regret it.

^ Rama series imo is great. Loving the new characters and the continuation, alas I have yet to read the last book in the trilogy, haven't gotten round to it.

Anyways, We by Yevgeny Zamyatin. Man oh man was it chilling. The reason I read it was due to rumours of Mr. Huxley 'ripping' it off and serving it as Brave New World BUT I strongly do not concur.
