Such casual real world modern references. Books are usually not common in medieval fantasy settings, and graphic novels, even less. Yet no less than three people have talked about him seeing the world as though it were a book or graphic novel. How can they read minds like that and reference such regular real world stuff.

 

     And that "we did it so we can claim a lottery ticket" and said ticket shown is absolutely a modern cardboard lottery ticket. And the card holder thing (Ok that one isn't as bad) At some put the term sexually harass was used even though supposedly that kind of thing was normal.

 

Is some, most or all of that shit in the novel? That would help me decide if I should read it.
