Hi.
With GMail, you can have as many dots in the first part of email address (before @gmail.com) as you like, and it will still point to the same inbox, e.g. [email protected] actually points to [email protected].
However, after I've registered a while ago with my @gmail email address with an extra dot in it, I haven't received a verification email. Then my account was deleted, obviously, the I re-registered again with a dot in email address and haven't got a verification email still.
But then I tried to change email address to the version with dots stripped, and it worked and I was able to receive a verification email and verificate myself.
So, it seems like a bug?
