I am confused, I thought he fell in lust with her seeing her pass by him and not knowing anything about her. And now in his memories of what happened, she's talking like they have been going out for awhile, or had in the past, and that she would run away from a marriage for him. If Great grandpa revised his story of first lust, please fill in the blanks between passing glance and her willing to leave her husband for him, author.
