I don't know how hard this would be to implement or if there even allready is a way to do it and I just can't figure it out.
But as the titel says I would like to be able to follow a specific author so that I would allways get a notification when one of their works gets a new upgrade. Similar to how you can allready follow a group.
This would be especially usefull for beeing informed when an authors new series starts beeing translated or they release a oneshot.
It could also be done as a "automatically follow any new series from this author" button, that way you would still be informed about new releases, but you could easily unfollow any series that doesn't interest you.
I would like to able able to follow a specific author or artist.

in at least these few threads......yeah, good luck with your suggestion and all, but it hasn't happened yet, so I doubt it will
