Name: Cassie Navara

Age: 19

Gender: Lady

Race: Human

Bounty: 0 Beli

Personality: Cassie has an ever active and curious mind. She was always thinking. Thinking about building....stuff. Thinking about people. Thinking about Finn. Thinking about her father. Trying to avoid thinking about her mother. She is someone with a big heart yet she is far from a pushover. Mostly because she is selfish. Not greedily selfish but, if it isn't part of her plan, it's not worth doing. Sure, she thinks of others and how to help them but that's because she wants to. If she has a question, she will find the answer, by any means necessary. If she is building something, consider yourself ignored until she is done. And if you try to stop her from what she is doing, you might be saying hello to Jane.
In the end, she wants what she wants. She marches to the beat of her own drum. A drum that is always beating and doesn't seem to take a rest.

History:
This is a story of a girl who wanted to sail the seas. A girl born for adventure. A girl raised to see everything and create through her hands. And a girl with a cliché dream of sailing the world. All of these girls were actually one girl who just wanted to simply see everything.
Cassie was born to a family of mechanics who left the grand line to settle in the East Blue. Her mother is marine with a high rank and skill within the weapons a development department. She was rarely around due to her work but her talent lived on in her only child. Her father was a damn good mechanic from the Galley La company. He too passed his skills onto his daughter. The family made the move with the help of the marines, naturally. Initially, it was for her mother to retire early with her husband and they start a small mechanics shop to fix ships as they visited the island at which they lived. It was a slow start but eventually, the business picked up.
For six years, the family lived happily with Cassie learning the crafts and skills of her parents. Things went well for those six years. That, was until her mother was called back into the marines for an undisclosed reason to the family. Cassie never knew the reason at least. Nor did she know her life was in danger had her mother not left. However that lack of knowledge caused the young mechanic-to-be to resent her mother. Still, she stepped in and helped her family make money while her mother was gone.
Cassie had an ever working mind that craved the need to be exercised so, she was always building something. Either she helped repair or improve seaworthy crafts with her dad or she was making some kind of........"other" device that she thought of randomly. Need something to help you in the morning when you feeling sluggish and incapable of functioning? Try this morning zapper that gives you a jolt when you fall asleep. Maybe you don't like the process of brushing your teeth and your hair and other toiletries and want to get the done faster. Then try this Nose Picking, toothbrushing, hair brushing, ear cleaning, all in one machine. Majority of her works were better off in theory than application as her credibility as a reasonable craftsmen went down hill. Though her skill as a reliable craftsmen was without question. Though, that never stopped her from trying to be helpful to those around her and with her upbeat attitude, the townsfolk couldn't really ignore her when she offered help. They just yelled when things went array.
A few years later, a lone man showed up to the island. He was a mysterious man who arrived and put a scare into the people. Of course, he meant no harm but he had an air of intimidation about him and that air kept people away from him. To be honest, it was something that worked to his favor because he, at an old age, just wanted to live the rest of his life in peace and seclusion. So much for either one of those.
Cassie could feel the air of adventure from this man. She couldn't leave him alone. She visited this man's house constantly and brought him food, water, and inventions even though he didn't need it. She definitely ignored her father's wishes to stay away from him. Yet, she insisted on trying to get to know him. Her efforts did not go in vain because Cassie eventually broke through and learned of this man's name, Finn. Yes, Finn. Its kind of hard to ignore s girl who brings over odd contraptions, constantly and refuses to leave you alone. Finn told Cassie he was a famed marksman in the grand line. He told Cassie about his exploits and of the vast waters of the Grand Line. He spoke about Islands of sands, snow floating cities and a heroic pirate who defied them all.
His storied stirred up some things in her. Cassie asked questions about his gun, revolver that he named Jane after a woman he loved and lost. It was a beautifully crafted gun and one that he kept with him at all times. Through the years, on top of becoming a better mechanic, she became a very good sharpshooter. Even getting to use Jane every once in a while. Their relationship grew ever closer ad it seemed the people grew to accept it. Then a pirate attack came.
Cassie was 15 by then, a grand pirate crew showed up to the town. They tracked without warning and tore the town apart. Cassie tried to fight back with her father who was no slouch since he was formally Galley La. However they were outmanned and outgunned. It all seemed lost until Finn hit the scene. He began taking the group apart. Shot by shot, Jane sounded off as one pirate dropped after another. With bullets flying, he attacked relentlessly but his old age left him a step or two slower than he used to be. He was wounded before getting to the captain.
The two men faced off in a battle that would never leave the mind of Cassie and her father. It went down to the wire. Both men mortally wounded, Finn struck the final blow. The island fell silent before Finn let out a cry of triumph. The island ran to his side but he was too wounded and he was nearing his time. Before he left, he gifted Jane to Cassie.
Finn stayed in her heart and the fire of adventure was set ablaze. For four years she built a ship to leave home and see the world. She promised her dad she would not to become a Pirate. He, eventually helped her finish the ship and gave her supplies. She had enough knowledge, experience, and talent to keep it afloat but it was time to go and she set sail. Father all snotty and sniffling that both women in his life are off doing god knows what.

Talents:
Shipwright
Marksmanship
Inventor
Skills: when do I write shit here?

Inventory:
Jane: a finely crafted revolver that was made for Finn right before he lost his beloved Jane. He named it after her and never let it go until his dying breath. Cassie has it now and she holds it as dear to her as her mentor and friend did to him. Nothing special other than the design of the gun.
Wrench: nobody with skills to build leaves home without it.
Tools: to fix and make shit with.
East Blue Pride: The ship is about the size of the Going Merry. It's has three large sails as the main sails and on the center mast is another smaller sail on top of a look out platform. Near the bow is pleanty of room to move about and a door to get to the front hold where tools, utility and repair supplies are located. The wheel for stearing is on a platform near the bow as well. On the stern, is where the Galley(kitchen) is located. It has a fully functional stove as well as refrigeration and freezer boxes for food and things that need to stay cold. A table is there, nailed to the floor with chairs around it for 10 people. Behind the galley is a Head (bathroom) and under that is a quarters for crew mates. On the deck above the Galley is a bathroom and another room for the crew to sleep. There is one cannon on the bow, but that's because she had to sneak it on when dad wasn't looking and she has been too busy trying to find her way around. There is no Jolly Roger.
